Rating Scale
The use of a rating scale gives students and teachers a chance to quantify the process of building a portfolio. It can be used to guide the process as well as to sum it up at a given point in the year. The rating scale is designed to assess the process of building the portfolio and as such is best completed by the student or the student and teacher together.
