The pictures in group A all are examples of processes that require energy in order to occur. These processes are termed endothermic.
The pictures in group B all are examples of processes that release energy when they happen. These processes are termed exothermic.

All reactions , whether physical , chemical or nuclear can be classified as either exothermic or endothermic in terms of whether they require energy to occur or produce energy.
