Researching Hot and Cold Packs

1) Using the internet and other sources, research commercial hot and cold packs.

2) Create a learning center that displays and describes how manufactures use physical and chemical changes that are exothermic to produce hot packs and endothermic to produce cold packs. The learning center should include:

a) Types of packs that are available.
b) Commercial examples of the packs.
c) How the technology of the pack actually works.
c) The physical or chemical process that is being used to create or absorb the heat.
d) Specific substances and processes used in some commercial packs.
d) Balanced equation of the change that is occurring using heat as a term in the equation.
