Basic Function Review

In this first activity, students will review basic operations using Microsoft Office Excel. They will have to use a spreadsheet to organize a Math class where the students' exam marks and final exam marks are calculated to result in a final mark that would be submitted to Sask. Learning. They will have to use their prior knowledge of formulas and cell organization to come up with a final product.

In Activity 2, the students will use a spreadsheet to run a monthly inventory report for Kurt's Rafting Company. They will be given monthly expense and revenue data and are asked to come up with the total gross profit for the business in that month. Fewer instructions and hints are given and a more independent approach is needed.
