Advanced Spreadsheets and "What if" ScenariosIn this section, students will use all of their knowledge of Excel to make a realistic spreadsheet that could be used by a real business to make predictions and to solve problems that they encounter from a financial standpoint. The IF function is the tool used to do that. In the following activities the student will learn how to use the IF function. This function can also be used to predict how changes in sales might benefit the company or hurt the company. The challenge is to maximize the return to the company and "what if" scenarios will allow the user to test situations and see which hypothesis will equal the greatest profit for the company.
