Provide the students with a multi-step question. Have
them do the question on their own. Once they all have a solution, have them
pick a partner and if their answers differ they must agree on one solution.
Once each pair has a solution, put all the different solutions on the board.
If the correct solution is not there, put the correct solution up and have
them go through each incorrect solution and determine where the error is. |

Have a one question quiz at the start of each class. The first
day the question is worth 20 marks. If they get it correct they are finished.
Each day the mark goes down by one until everyone gets it correct. Make
the question similar each time and go over each day's question before the
next quiz. |

Have students do a written assignment on integers. |

Have students do a written assignment on fractions. |
|
Have students do a written assignment of decimals. |
