To set up with Web Sharing software:
1. Set up a folder on the computer for the web cam images. To include the image in a web page, use the sample blank html file in the HTML folder of CoolCam or insert the image on your own page by using the <img src="webcam.jpg" tag. Name your webcam image "webcam.jpg" and place it in the same folder on the computer.
2. Open the CoolCam application. On the Server tab leave the fields blank.

  • On the Options tag select "Save image locally" and select the webcam folder you created.
  • Determine how often you want the images to refresh.
  • If you want the images archived, select the folder where the images will be stored. Under the Archiving Options, you can create a time-lapse Qicktime movie which can later be viewed or exported.

3. Click on the "Status" tab to verify that CoolCam is able to upload, save or archive images. The "View Image" button will display the last image captured.
