Refraction

I am standing on our dock at the lake trying to spear some fish, but I keep missing. My mom says that I keep missing because the fish are not really where I appear to see them underwater. How can they be in a different spot underwater than where I see them? In this module you will find diagrams, problems, online and offline experiments, and applications of refraction. Finally, you will be able to diagram and explain the problem with spearing the fish.
