MANAGEMENT: Legal Issues

Teacher-librarians need to be aware of several legal issues that will relate to the resources they purchase and use in the school library setting. It is also their role to provide appropriate information for the staff. Clarify any policy that exists in your school or school division and develop procedures to accommodate these legal issues.
