TECHNOLOGY: Online Information Sources - Experts

Connecting students to human experts in the field allows students to expand their research beyond the walls of the library. Many professionals, academics, and business people will supply answers to questions posted by students. Students may require assistance to pose "good" questions.


E = Experts
  • Ask A+ Locator: Search or browse for Ask An Expert services for K-12 education. Detailed descriptions of each service and their answer policy are included.
  • Ask an Expert: Provides an index to dozens of online ask-an-expert services. Links are organized into categories such as science and technology and library reference.
  • Ask Dr. Math: Question and answer service for students and teachers. A searchable archive is available as well as summaries of frequently asked questions.
  • Ask Us: Operated cooperatively by public library systems in Saskatchewan and the Provincial Library, this site will provide brief answers to factual questions, bibliographies and guidance on how to start your research.
  • CLN Ask An Expert: Includes links to specialists in the field who can serve as a valuable source of curricular expertise for both students and teachers.
