Module Information

This module is focused upon sound and video.It examines the sound effect, the sound script, and Sound Safety. There is a concluding section on the use of video in stage productions.

The activities around Sound Effects show how the sound demands of the script are identified, how planning for the sound effects takes place, and how the sound effects are made.

The activities around the Sound Script will show how to prepare a sound cue sheet, write a sound script, and playback sound as a part of a technical rehearsal.

The activities around Stage Video will focus on the setting up of video equipment for the stage, diagrams for video set-up and trouble shooting techniques.
