6.3 Costume Care During a Show
Conditions are intense during the running of a major production. At the beginning of each show, everything must be in order. Costumes are no exception and require special care and attention. By taking good care of costumes, you can avoid problems during a show, keep actors looking their best and impress your audience.
In this section you will learn:
Costumes must be hung properly and organized so that actors can find them easily. Communicate with actors to make sure they understand the needs of the costume department. It is only by working together that you will secure a good relationship. Actors will then take the time to care for and manage their own equipment.
