6.3 Organizing Costumes for Actors

Ideally, a long coat rack, perhaps the one the school janitors make available when there is a crowd at a school event in the winter, or a coat rack of your own devising, whatever, you will need the means to hang a variety of costumes.

Organizing Costumes

Each character will require a hangar for each costume scene and each of these hangars need to be grouped under that characters name. When complete, all costumes for each character will have a place on the rack.

If an actor requires many changes of costume it is better to have a separate rack for that actor.

Actors need to be notified to return their costumes to the hangar and to place all their hangars on the rack. This needs to be done after every rehearsal and performance.
