8.1 Backstage

Perhaps the most difficult yet rewarding job is the position of Stage Manager. The Stage Manager is responsible for knowing every detail of the production and must organize the various departments to achieve a great performance. The Stage Managers' Book is used to keep all information relative to the play as well as performance notes, a master cue sheet and script. The Backstage Crew play an important role in setting and striking the stage, running lights and sound and problem solving during the production.
