9.2 Contributions

There is a production to be staged. So what can you do? What skills have you gained over the years? What previous experience do you have? What are you goals in Theatre Arts? What personal traits do you possess that make you a valuable team member? At the beginning of any great task, we must meet as a group to discuss these things to define the roles of each person.

This activity is about identifying your strengths and weaknesses as an individual and as a group. Who is your team? What are their specialties and goals. How can teams be set up to meet the challenge of putting on a production?

Question Mark

You will need to first work through the following worksheet on your own. Then, gather in a group and work through the sheet again. Working through this activity will make you more aware of yourself and the people around you. It is a great place to start before continuing on to write a résumé or go into an interview. Identifying who we are can give us confidence that whatever contribution we make to a project, it will be a valued one.
