Module Information

This module considers work study and the things we can do to increase our chances at being successful in landing a career in Theatre Arts. Hopefully there is a Work Study opportunity available in your area, whether it be a community play or a school christmas concert.

Once an opportunity for work study has been established, you must look at the various Contributions you can make to the position. Communication is always a vital skill in a group activity like theatre arts and will help to make the your work more rewarding.

If we are to share our strengths and experiences with a future employer, we must be able to prepare a Résumé and handle ourselves in an Interview. Working a Show makes it possible for you to apply your new theatrical skills in a real world situation. Once we have a basic understanding of theatre arts we will look at potential Theatre Careers for the future.

At the end of any great endeavor, it is the process of Reflecting which allows us to learn as much as we can from what we have done.
