Horizontal Line Test
A test used to determine if a function is one-to-one or a many-to-one. If the horizontal line cuts the graph in only one spot, the function is one-to-one. If the horizontal line cuts the graph in more than one spot, it is considered to be a many-to-one function.
Hypotenuse
The side opposite the right angle in a right triangle.
