Many-to-One Function A function that pairs more than one input (x) with the same output (y).
Mean
The average of the terms in the data set. The mean is calculated by dividing the sum of the terms by the number of the terms.
Measures of Central Tendency A representative measure of a data set. The mean, median, and mode are the most common measures of central tendency.
Median The value representing the middle number of an ordered data set so that there are an equal number or terms larger and smaller.
Midpoint Formula The formula used to find the the point on a segment that divides the segment into two equal parts.
Mode The value in the data set that occurs most often.
Monte Carlo Simulation Data gathered using games of chance such as dice, coin toss, cards, or spinners to represent a real life scenario.
